He chased after the one-eyed old man when Zhou Fuguang rescued Qin Baozhu. He is supportive and sympathetic, helping Zhou Fuguang care for Qin Baozhu and the children. He feels sympathy for Zhou Fuguang's situation when Qin Baozhu no longer recognizes him.
