A disciple personally trained by Yin Shanze from a young age, he grew up with Liuyu as childhood sweethearts. He cultivated the famous peony variety Jinluyu because Liuyu liked to wear gold dresses. On the Flower Festival, Liuyu only picked his poem scroll among all the expressions of young affection.
