Also referred to as Uncle Ji or Ji's father. He is the brother of Ji Wanting and the uncle of Jiang Huaijin. He drove a military jeep that broke down at night. He initially did not like children but felt his heart soften upon seeing Jiang Huaijin. He is eager to take the children to meet their great-grandmother, whose health is declining in the hospital.
