Also known as Old Master Ji, he is Ji Yunhuai's grandfather and the true authority of the Ji Family. He distinguished himself on the battlefield in his youth and built the Ji Family into a top-tier influential family in the Imperial Capital through business and politics. He is traditionally minded and values male heirs. He has two surviving sons (Ji Ming and Ji Cheng) and three daughters. He treats Ji Yunhuai as the reincarnation of his deceased youngest son Ji Huai and is indulgent toward him despite being strict with other descendants.
