The second son of the old Duke, a lieutenant general (fifth-rank) whom Xie Lanzhou personally promoted after ascending the throne. He inherited the old Duke's military prowess and had fought in numerous battles despite his youth. Xie Lanzhou appointed him as deputy commander to accompany the army.
