Ji Fanling's father, a gambling addict who is violent and abusive toward his daughter. He lost all night playing cards and frantically searched for missing money, accusing Ji Fanling of stealing it. He threw a beer bottle at her and cursed her, calling her a worthless burden just like her deceased mother. He is often out of contact for long periods and never attends parent-teacher meetings.
