Huang Dangjia, also known as the Head of the Huang family, is the leader of the Huang family and a mountain spirit with centuries of cultivation. His true form is a massive yellow weasel, which he reveals during the battle. He wields a cane that can transform into a venomous snake and explode into poisonous barbs. Huang Dangjia is cunning and deceptive, lying to Li Xin and Chi Yu about not knowing the location of a fragmentary soul with cultivation. He orchestrated a plan involving a tree spirit and a remnant soul to resurrect his deceased grandson Huang Xiaoxing, who had killed a man after eating a rooster from the village ancestral hall. Huang Dangjia was willing to use a living soul through a dark art to revive his grandson. During the fight, he grew to an enormous size and could match Chang Wu and Chang You in combat before being subdued by Li Xin's group.
