Also known as Ye Dasao, she is Ye Dashan's wife. Tianniu described her as a smiling tiger—kind on the surface but not truly so. She has three children: eldest daughter Ye Daya (already married), second son Dahai (middle school age), and youngest son Dahu (fourth grade, born during the 1982 one-child policy). She stayed behind to help care for her in-laws while her sister-in-law visited her parents. She teased Ye Xiaoyu about being a delicate young lady and a rich lady during lunch preparation.
