He knows Wei Lan's true identity as Huang Yunrong and shows her a yellowed portrait. He has exceptional martial arts skills, easily breaking free from ropes Wei Lan tied him with. He appears to have deep feelings for Wei Lan, calling her 'Yunrong' and 'Xiao Lan'. He is heading north while Wei Lan and Honghua are being taken south.
