A former sworn brother of Li Qingfeng who betrayed him. He had a brother-in-law stationed at the northern city gate connected to the Wen family. He was tempted by Chang Songyuan to help steal one hundred taels of gold, but was ultimately outmatched when Chang Songyuan revealed martial arts skills. He was stabbed in the abdomen by Chang Songyuan, survived, and was later imprisoned. A joint trial was convened by the Three Judicial Offices involving him and officials from the Ministry of Works and Ministry of Revenue.
