Also known as Fatty Hong or Old Man Hong, a round stout man from the First Branch (Branch of Golden), which specializes in physiognomy, fortune-telling, and reading one's destiny. He served as a messenger bringing an invitation for the Contest of Arts to Bai Zhun. He is very respectful and obsequious, especially when he realizes he is speaking to the Seventh Young Master of the Huo family. He is afraid of ghosts from Bai Zhun's house.
