Also known as Aunt Hong San, a woman in Qianwan Village who is considered the best at drying kelp in the area. She takes pride in her craft. She sells dried kelp at ten wen per jin through middlemen who then resell to upscale restaurants and pharmacies. Her kelp is described as the best drying technique of this era, though Xie Yushu finds room for improvement.
