Also known as Daojun Helan Kaiji. He is Helan Ling's father and Helan Huaiying's elder brother. He cultivated the Twelvefold Blazing Sun Sutra but remained stagnant at the Nascent Soul realm, barely reaching the third stage. He was consumed by jealousy toward his talented sister and betrayed her by revealing she was a Pure Yin Furnace to the clan elders. He conspired to ambush and capture her, forcing her to become his Cauldron. Eighty years later, he became the master of the Radiant Saint Palace at the third level of Mahayana. He is obsessed with ascending the Heavenly Way and would drain Helan Huaiying dry.
