Hei Sen is Wu Mu's mother, a beastwoman who left the tribe before Wu Mu reached adulthood. She claimed she would find something to enable his full transformation into a beastman but never returned. Her absence led to gossip and ostracization of Wu Mu in the tribe. She is mentioned only in flashbacks and dialogue.
