Also known as Uncle He, He Hongwen's father. He is the director of a hospital and has always favored Ye Siran, often teaching her that one need not constantly endure in life. He dotes on her without limits and promised to find her someone better. He is firm and authoritative, threatening Ye Ruyue with prison if she tries to cheat his son. He recognizes Ye Siran as his second daughter-in-law.
