A live-in chef at Little Cloud House restaurant, described as the only single chef among the staff. He is in his fifties (claims to be fifty years old) but appears young. He is tall, muscular with visible abdominal muscles, and has long legs. He is responsible, helpful, and kind despite his cold exterior. He sleeps in the bottom bunk by the window in the dorm, which was previously occupied by Zhao Hongwei. He ignores Xin Xin's clingy behavior but secretly protects him, even admitting there are ghosts by having Xin Xin walk in front to 'block' for him. He is skilled at his job, working like 'Superman' without breaks. He has a locker in the communal bathroom and uses a hot water card.
