He Shuli's younger brother, a war-preparedness engineer whose primary post is not at the astronomical observation base. He works part-time at the observation base when things are quiet. He holds the title of special-class planetary engines engineer, the same title as Chu Xuan's mother. He is described as the guy who carried around his mother's note telling Chu Xuan to wear long johns. As a hardware engineer, he is solid with planetary engines as well as electronics and mechanics.
