The Prince Dong'an, a young but shrewd prince who achieved great military success on the battlefield. He was crippled after sustaining severe leg injuries protecting his elder brother (the emperor) during a rebellion. He has secretly admired Fang Zhiyi since she was ten years old and returned to the capital partly because the Queen Mother fell ill. He is cautious and scheming but has no truly evil intent at his core.
