Dolly's grandfather, nicknamed Shorty due to his short stature. He is fifty-five years old with hereditary reddish-brown hair, a full beard, fair skin with a rosy tint, and is still quite spirited. He helps with milk deliveries alongside Dolly's father Fred. He escorts Dolly when she goes out to restock due to recent murders making it unsafe for a young girl to go out alone. He also helps care for his bedridden wife Lisa.
