Also known as Consort Yi, she is Yintang's mother and a concubine of Emperor Kangxi. She entered the palace at seventeen and was promoted to Concubine just four months later. She has three sons: Yiqi (Fifth Prince), Yintang (Ninth Prince), and Yinzi. She enjoys unending imperial favor but does not seek to bring glory to her maternal family. She dotes on her children and allows Yintang to sleep in, which is against palace rules. She worries about Yintang's lazy and playful nature given the strict education he will face when he moves to the Princes' Quarters and Imperial Study.
