Companion of Gu Yongchang who was sharing the room with him. He is referred to as 'Old Gu' by Gu Yongchang. He stirred when Gu Yongchang sat up in the middle of the night and asked why he was up so late. Gu Yongchang told him to go back to sleep as he was just going downstairs for water.
