Male, also called Guan Laosi or Fourth Uncle. He is a scholar preparing for imperial exams, claiming to be the incarnation of the Heavenly Star of Literature. He refuses to do farm work, citing scholarly dignity. Xiyue criticizes him for failing both literature and martial exams and being lazy.
