A tall (1.9 meters), handsome soldier with a cold temperament. He is the son of a fallen comrade whom Shen Li once saved. He agreed to a fake marriage with Shen Li for 500 yuan compensation, partly because she saved his friend Gou Dan. He is suspicious of her knowledge about future political movements but agrees to the arrangement. He is from a modest background but acts generously, paying for Western bread and rickshaw fares.
