A chemistry student and close friend of Mu Guiying's mother. She wanted to adopt Mu Guiying but circumstances at the time didn't permit it. Over the years she has been providing financial support to Mu Guiying. She asked her son Gu Yunche to bring the unregistered Mu Guiying back to the capital for settlement when Mu Guiying was about to turn eighteen and household registration policies were relaxed. She genuinely had good intentions.
