Gu Shizhang's maternal grandmother who raised him after his mother passed away early. She lived in Singapore and used to bring him to the old wonton noodle restaurant when she visited Hong Kong. She once fled from Guangzhou's Xiguan district to Hong Kong during chaotic times before the liberation, and during that desperate journey, she had a bowl of wonton noodles that she considered the best food in the world.
