He initially maintains a cold expression but feels something stir inside him when interacting with Mu Jianxi, as if his long-dead heart starts beating again. He agrees to a fifty-fifty profit business deal with Mu Jianxi for refined salt production. He is deeply moved by Mu Jianxi's description of her modern country and wishes to visit her world someday.
