Gu Yin's younger sister. Originally named Gu Pandi (Hope-for-a-Younger-Brother), she changed her name to Lingyun (suggesting ambition). She studied tirelessly in City A and took the adult college entrance exam. She is stubborn and independent, resentful of her brother who benefited from her sacrifices, but warms up to Gu Yin when he promises to support her education.
