Also known as Old Gu's third son, Lao San, or Third Son Gu. He is the son of Old Madam Gu and the father of Gu Jiahui. He is described as weak, useless, and incapable. He attacked Second Brother while wearing a mask, intending to steal from Gu Yi's house. Under pressure he confessed he was trying to steal back fifty taels of silver that the family had taken from him. He broke down and admitted Second Brother hurt himself while trying to chase him away. His hands were broken by Dalang as punishment.
