Meng Li's biological mother. In 1968, she divorced Meng Li's father and remarried Cheng Chunliang. She brought Meng Li to the Cheng family from the hospital, saying the child was unlikely to survive. She has been harsh and cold toward Meng Li ever since, treating her like a stray picked up off the street. She is currently pregnant with her third child with Cheng Chunliang.
