Male, Gu Meifang's father and Jiang Xinxin's grandfather. He is an elderly military doctor serving at the Ministry of Health in Kyoto. He receives a letter from his daughter revealing Jiang Bindong's true nature. He is angry and writes a reply inviting Gu Meifang and Jiang Xinxin to follow the army and live with them.
