Second Young Master of the Gu family and Gu Yan's older brother. He is close with Wen Ruoxue and was the original marriage alliance partner chosen by the Gu family. He is relieved it is not him who has to marry Wen Miaomiao. He feels sympathy for Wen Miaomiao and is uneasy about Gu Yan's behavior toward her.
