Male supporting character, Gu Ansheng's older brother. He took over his mother's work at the Grain Bureau. He is described as a mama's boy by Qiao Rongrong. He tries to play the dutiful son by fanning Zhu Mother and scolding Gu Ansheng for upsetting her, but is cowardly and shrinks back when his mother gets angry.
