The Ghost-faced man is Fengyu Tower's second-ranked assassin, known for his deadly jade flute which has killed countless people. He wears a green-faced demon mask covering half his features, while the other half is described as impossibly handsome. His eyes are sharp and sinister like a hawk's. He was sent by the Tower Master to kill An Jin because Gong Yue decided to leave the Tower. He is skilled enough to pose a threat but is no match for Gong Yue's swordsmanship. After Gong Yue cripples his left arm, he flees but warns that opposing Fengyu Tower will not end well, especially with Gong Yue's obvious weakness in his wife. His flute produces a mournful, deadly melody that causes physical pain.
