A strategist and general who served under General Pei Hao. He died a tragic and heroic death at the Battle of Chishan, where he was betrayed by the Wu tribe colluding with Xiao Bin. He is credited with developing step-by-step strategies that were ultimately used against him. He also played a role in naming Pei Nai, suggesting the character Nai to represent endurance and hoping she would not inherit her father's impatient nature.
