The Empress of the Qing dynasty, wife of Emperor Hongli. She is competent in managing the harem but made a negligence error by failing to inspect meat dishes before they were presented to the Empress Dowager during a mourning period. She kneels before Hongli to confess her fault and proposes demoting Qingying. She harbors lingering resentment toward Qingying from years ago when Qingying nearly caused her to become a concubine instead of principal wife during the selection process.
