Jinwu's boyfriend of seventeen years, also referred to as Fu Yulchen in some parts of the text. He is arrogant, controlling, and has a strong desire for dominance in the relationship. On his birthday, he got drunk while waiting for Jinwu, publicly mocked her for being an illegitimate daughter, and kissed another woman. He expects Jinwu to apologize and submit to him, refusing to accept the breakup. He has dark circles under his eyes and sits awake all night waiting for her reply. He hated overly strong women since he was young. He rescued Jinwu from a dark basement when she was eight years old, which created a lasting psychological bond.
