A character in the period drama that Tang Qu is joining. He was the Grand Tutor appointed by the late emperor, who single-handedly ensured the First Prince's ascension to the throne, taught him the ways of an emperor, and ultimately died shielding the New Emperor from a knife. He was actually a sacrifice in the royal strife, as the assassination was a play arranged by the New Emperor.
