A scholar who lives at the academy and rarely returns to Fu Family Village. He saved Xue Zhi from drowning in the river out of kindness. He is the only scholar in the village and later agreed to write the divorce papers for Xue Zhi. He does not believe the accusations that Xue Zhi was promiscuous.
