A demon-capturing sorcerer and captain stationed at the border between the Federation and the Empire. He received orders from higher-ups about killing those possessed as vessels but strongly opposed the idea. He tested the theory by severing the connection between a demon and his subordinate San'er, discovering that the person could be saved if treated as food rather than a vessel.
