Fang Xurong is a wealthy heir and one of Palace of Drama's most loyal viewers. Though ten years older than Yu Jing, he becomes noticeably disciplined and respectful when speaking with the director. He initially faced teasing from friends for watching a drama about women fighting over power, but eventually all his wealthy second-generation friends were sucked into the series. He tracked down Yu Jing's contact information and was deeply concerned about the game adaptation potentially ruining Palace of Drama. He even offered to pay the penalty fee so Yu Jing wouldn't have to adapt it. His attitude completely changed when he learned Yu Jing would be personally involved in the game development.
