He was once tricked into working as a laborer in a black kiln mine where he nearly died, and Fourth Brother Fu saved his life by paying medical bills and finding him work. He feels deeply grateful and loyal to Fourth Brother Fu. He prepared an old tractor to transport the Fu Family and refused payment for buying supplies for Pang Fu. He is a cadre sent down from the county.
