Liu Cuiyun's husband, who has a job at a factory. He is described as somewhat weak and cowardly, allowing his mother and sister to mistreat Liu Cuiyun. He hands over his salary to his mother. Liu Cuiyun later sabotaged him by having him transferred to a dusty work station at his factory, where a previous worker had died from lung disease. He is fearful and easily manipulated.
