Also called Xiao Man. She is the younger sister of Colonel Fang and a teacher at the military district school. She is twenty years old and has romantic feelings for Lu Lin (Brother Lu). During a confrontation with her sister-in-law Sister Fang, she is accused of trying to steal another woman's husband. After being poured hot porridge and facing her brother's decision, she is forced to return to her impoverished hometown, but remains determined to marry Lu Lin.
