He is talkative and gossipy, pouring wine for Yu Yan and later suggesting his own younger sister (who just turned eighteen) as a match for Yu Yan. He accidentally revealed that Shen Yuchen is gay while speaking loudly, causing an awkward silence in the room. He later took the microphone to sing.
