Also referred to as Erdan in parts of the text, he is a young boy with extraordinary musical talent who wanted to learn the violin from Meng Yu. He defended Meng Yu against his mother's accusations and had rushed forward to protect her during the confrontation multiple times. He cried loudly when Meng Yu said she would not continue teaching him, saying he liked learning the violin. He was described as dirty with tears and snot on his face at the end.
