The eldest daughter of the Yu family who served as empress. She was placed under house arrest after the emperor's death and was eventually deposed by Taihuang Taihou on grounds that the emperor died young due to indulgence. She was given a cup of gold-flecked wine and died with blood streaming from her seven orifices. Her brief life was entirely spent as a pawn, fleeting as a shooting star.
