Empress of the Great Yan court and mother of the Second Prince Zhu Jingrui. She is weary but sharp-tongued. She had previously encouraged Shen Jingshu and showered her with gifts at Fengyi Palace. She is furious at her son for impulsively petitioning the Emperor for Shen Jingshu as a side consort, which has damaged their political reputation and alienated the Shen family.
