Also known as Di Xin or King Zhou of Shang, the last ruler of the Shang dynasty. Qing Ni portrays him as a benevolent ruler who abolished human sacrifice and appointed commoners and slaves as officials. He was betrayed by his own brother Weizi and nobles, suffered defeat at Muye, and set himself on fire at the Deer Terrace rather than let his corpse be desecrated.
