The ruler of Chen Kingdom who was dealing with multiple crises: farmers fleeing to Da Xia, conflicts with Shu over romantic entanglements involving illegitimate sons, and plans to conquer Da Xia. He blamed Zhao for angering the Preceptor of Da Xia and causing the altar incident. He was tempted by the idea of recruiting the Preceptor of Da Xia after conquering them.
