An elderly woman who lived next to Sui Ran's maiden home. Her embroidery work was described as magical, with whatever she embroidered looking exactly like the real thing. She was fierce and chased children away with a stern face, but sometimes in a good mood she would give Sui Ran wheat candy and teach her stitching techniques. Sui Ran learned bamboo leaf embroidery by secretly watching her work.
